Tuesday Fast Sprint Day

This is the fastest day ride. After a rest day (Monday), riders are ready to go for the week. Expect surges but keep it safe. Notably at "Sembawang Hill" where the long climb separates those who can climb and those who are just barely hanging on. Four sprint points located at strategic places (i.e. pretty safe) allows those with extra testosterone to practise their sprinting ala race day. Smart drafting allows those going for points (recorded and tabulated for year end!) to win,Win, WIIIN!!!!!

But if you are not going for the sprints or fancy a slower ride, check if there is a "turtle" ride going on; steady base-ride pace. Or form your own! Riders have to wait for everyone after each sprint point to regroup so that no one is left to ride alone. If you do not plan to have anyone wait for you, let it be known ahead of time so that the rest do not wait (fast "turtles" have been known to catch up with the "ninjas" i.e. the surgers/sprinters by time trialing through timed traffic lights!).

Ride starts at 500AM from Longhouse. Better be there some minutes early.
